This months devotion by Al Long: Brenda was telling me about a story she read. It told of a homeless man who went to sleep in a trash dumpster. He woke up as the trash truck was dumping him in the back of the truck. As he went in, he began to scream, but no one heard him. So, the truck began to pack him in with the automatic packer. It was lucky that he wasn't hurt. But, he was packed very tightly and could not move. He was able to scream and scream, but no one heard him. The truck operators heard the sound but couldn't hear where it was coming from. He was screaming, "Get me out of here, get me out of here, please help me!" After a while the operators heard him and helped him out of the back of the truck where he lay with trash all around him. As she told me this story, I began to think of hell and how it will be for many millions of people who turn Jesus away. When they open their eyes in hell, they will be screaming, "Lord help me, help me, get me out of here!" This reminds me of when the rich man died, and in hell he lifted up his eyes. The decision to accept Christ as your Savior must be made this side of the grave. When one passes away there will be no more chance for salvation. It will be too late! The Bible is very clear about this. I am praying that Two By Faith Ministries will be able to reach out to the lost and dying world. Let's all join together in praying and witnessing for Christ. If we don't, then the blood of these souls will be on our hands. It has been six years that we have been on radio and television. In July we will be starting our seventh year. Praise the Lord for what He has done for us and our ministry. Luke 16:23 23. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,. . . . |
